Basis Consultant Role:

• Working in SAP’s Product IBP (Integrated Business Planning) as Cloud Operations Engineer.
• Build and operate the environments for our cloud customers of respective product lines and ensure the delivery according to defined SLA. Ensure smooth operation, maximize uptime and performance of cloud software.
• Provision, Release, Maintain, Monitor, Upgrade, Decommission of SAP Systems in different Cloud Landscapes (S/4 HANA Systems)
• Expertise in SAP HANA Database (2.0 SPS 05). Performed SAP HANA DB Migration in different landscapes, Components, AFLs Upgrade to higher HDB Versions, Multi tenancy Operations like Tenant Move from One DB to another, Cross DC Tenant Move/Migration
• Perform Refresh (PIT, Backup, and refresh on different system)
• Setting up User management through IAS (Identity Authentication Services) for IBP Systems
• Resolve Customer Incidents to SAP, Internal Incidents Tools used are BCP and ServiceNow Monitor Alerting mechanism set up by automation, Validate Release versions internally and other activities like Hardware Migration of SAP Instances, SAP HANA Table Partitions, Delta Merges weekly once during Contractual Maintenance Period

Scrum Master Roles:

Took additional responsibility as a Scrum Master to lead and delivered2 Major Projects while fulfilling my responsibility as a Basis Consultant.

• Organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies Sprint planning, Daily standup's, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective for the Scrum team
• Served as focal to drive effective communication throughout the Product development.
• Applied agile methodology to shorten cycle time and achieve target margins.
• Introduced best practices and encouraged team cohesion, overcoming impediments, and hurdles to increase the productivity.
• Working closely with product owners to define requirements into product backlog items.
• Facilitated teams collaboration to resolve impediments

• Conducted Agile and scrum trainings for internal teams.

Basis Responsibilities

• SLT data replication using SLT data replication server.
• Activating Fiori applications.
• Focused Build applications for TR automation.
• Configured SAP Backbone connections, according to latest SAP recommendations.
• Applying Security notes in regular intervals based on SAP recommendations.
• Working on Hardening of SAP systems based on Daimler AG standards.
• Downloading kernel upgrade files, support packages from SAP market place and Applied.
• Releasing change request and importing into quality assurance and production systems.
• Providing On-Call support as and when required 24/7.

• Importing the Transport requests between the systems in the landscape and other systems which are not in the landscape.
• User administration: creating, changing, deleting, locking/unlocking and password resetting of users.
• Performed all Pre-& Post refresh activities while system copy and maintained in landscape.
• Providing On-Call support as and when required 24/7.
