The role is responsible for the implementation of key elements of the International freight forwarding work processes that contribute to service improvements and cost optimization across the supply chain, ensure operations function to promote growth.

• Self-reserving or via agent for necessary space on ships, aircraft, trains, or trucks.
• Arrange delivery or storage of goods at destinations.
• Arrange for special transport of sensitive cargoes, such as livestock, food, or medical supplies.
• Inform clients of factors such as shipping options, timelines, transfers, or regulations affecting shipments.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations, or other factors that could affect freight shipping.
  Negotiate shipping rates with freight carriers - airlines /IATA agents/shiping lines etc.
• Obtain or arrange cargo insurance as per client’s preference
  Verify adherence of documentation to customs, insurance, or regulatory requirements.
• Clear goods through customs, arranging for applicable duties and taxes
• Make arrangements with customs brokers to facilitate the passage of goods through customs
• Provide shipment status notification to exporters, consignees, or insurers.
• Arrange for transport, using a variety of modes, such as rail, short sea shipping, air, or roadways, to minimize carbon emissions or other environmental impacts. Co-ordinating with overseas Agents / Customers for business opportunities.
• Manage the carriers on an order by order basis to ensure the level of service required is delivered on and that the orders are delivered at the right place at the right time.
• Checking / acquiring client terms prior to shipping.
  Creating export quotes for Air/ sea for the clients / overseas members
• Interacting with the client for smooth flow of their international shipment and ensuring to maintain our service standard.
  Dealing with Transporters, lines, CHA and coordination with clients.
  Guide clients on the IATA rules and procedures for air freight shipments.
• Maintain, grow & build long term relationship with account portfolio via phone calls, emails & job quality follows.

Ensure operations function to promote growth and meet financial objective. To effectively communicate with the clients for quotation, dispatch, billing.

· Quotation: Providing quotes of machines and spare parts.

· Order Processing: Working closely with clients & knowing their specific requirements for elevator machines & parts & accordingly placing orders with the supplier in China.

· Procurement: Clean & efficient import of cargo via freight forwarding & clearing companies.

· Outbound: Invoicing & handling inflow/outflow account as per payment terms with vendors & customers.

· MIS: Scrutinizing monthly organization sales report, verifying monthly organization vendor’s reports.

· Remittance: Remittance of suppliers through financial channel.

· Additional: Handling any arising operational or official work.
