Project Name: Dell Financial Services (DFS) Lease Wave Application.
Description:
Odessa is a product-based company that provides financial software for lease and loan functionality. The company offers the Odessa framework, which is built on top of the .NET framework using various .NET technologies. This framework is primarily designed for standard features such as workflow-related modules, roles, and login functionality. On top of the Odessa framework, there is a product layer that contains the base product with all the necessary components, including lease, vendor, funder, lessee, credit application, origination, and asset management. Odessa has several clients, including Dell, HP, GE, and Canon, each with unique leasing requirements. To meet their specific needs, Odessa provides customized versions of their base product. This customization layer is called the Project layer.
The final layer, known as the Client layer, is entirely managed by the client. They can make minor changes to the software themselves.
