- Gained an overview of various operations at the rig site during oil and gas drilling, including drilling, mud logging, Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Directional Drilling, Logging While Drilling (LWD), the mud circulation system, pull-out, running-in, work-over, and more.
- Learned about the working principles of four MWD tools: mud pulse telemetry, acoustic telemetry, wired-pipe technology (WPT), and coiled tubing telemetry (CTT).
- Assembled the GE MWD tool at the rig site, which operates on mud pulse telemetry and consists of 10 components. Also developed an understanding of the functions of each component of the tool.
- Currently studying various noise factors in down-hole operations that hinder the MWD process and exploring methods for mitigation.

- Conducted a detailed comparison of biogas with 8 other fuels—kerosene, firewood, cattle dung, charcoal, furnace oil, LPG, diesel, and coal—analyzing their heat values, distinct properties, and applications in energy production, while attaining comprehensive knowledge of the science and technology behind setting up a Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant..
- Evaluated the bio-CNG production potential by analyzing 5 different types of feedstock which are Surplus argo residue, Spent wash/pressmud, Municipal solid waste, Sewage treatment plants, Animal and poultry waste.
- Learned how OIL India Limited evaluates site selection parameters to select 58 sites all across India for CBG plants, including regulatory approval requirements and pollution classifications.
