  • Worked on toroidal propellers - Design using Fusion 360.
  • 6 iterations of toroidal propellers were made and tested on Ansys.
  • Designs that showed optimal results were further optimized and several iterations were made for the same.
  • Propellers were 3D printed and tested which showed successful results.
  • Have been working on toroidal propellers since 1st year of M.E, was given the opportunity to work on this project by the faculty.
  • Involvement in projects - Tethered, BVLOS drones.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT - UG

1. SMART E-BIKE

  • Previous iteration was looked into and studied for its weakness and drawbacks.
  • Started working on new model's design to overcome those drawbacks. The design was made on SOLIDWORKS.
  • Made design was tested on Ansys, necessary bending and rigidity values were noted.
  • Parts were given for manufacturing. The made parts were then assembled together.
  • Raspberry Pi was used as the main control board to link between the GPS, Display and electrical components inside the skate scooter.

COMPETITONS

1. SMART SRM CAMPUS (Oct 2019 to Feb 2020)

  • Our project "SMART campus mobility" won 2nd place.
  • A four-stage competition, with 60+ teams from all departments and all years. The jury panel included judges from the college and the industry.

2. TECHKNOW (Oct 2017)

  • Our project "Light fidelity" won 1st place.
  • A project using solar panels, battery, audio source, and speaker. Showed the transfer of audio via light.
