Dr. Ruchika Raina is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow (ICSSR) at the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She specializes in border studies, gender, and conflict in South Asia, with a particular focus on the India–Pakistan International Border and the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.   • Gender Equality Advocacy, actively engaged in promoting gender equity, particularly through research on women's issues in conflict zones. My work focuses on challenging structural inequalities and advocating for policy reforms to uplift marginalized women.
  • Community and Youth-Based Initiatives, involved in various social and environmental projects that address local community needs, particularly with youth organizations. These initiatives align with my research on grassroots development, conflict resolution, and empowerment in border regions.
  • Educational Outreach and Reform, committed to improving educational access, especially in underprivileged and rural areas. Through mentoring and community engagement, I have worked to support dropout students in resuming their studies and fostering self-reliance.
  • Cross-Cultural Academic Dialogue, actively participate in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural academic exchanges to foster a deeper understanding of global political dynamics. This engagement supports my research on the intersections of identity, politics, and conflict in diverse societies.
