

Female urologist, treating male patients with care and dignity but at the same time providing women with the safe space and the niche where they can open up about their problems without the hesitation they face with the male urologist. Urology has always been a male dominated branch, and females having been at the receiving end. Urology is my passion, to serve the patients irrespective of their gender is my duty, but at the same time, if I can make another woman feel at ease with a doctor, is something I look forward to doing.
After having completed my training in Urology, currently working with the State Medical college and Hospital in the Surat city as an assistant professor.
Attending OPD patients, managing the IPD patients and doing core urology practice of Endourology as well as laparoscopic surgeries.
Teaching the general surgery trainees during their observership in Urology department .
Only female Urology trainee in the history of the institute since 43 years of it's inception.
Trained at an institute that ranks in top 5 institutions in India for Urology training which is a very high volume centre.
Trained in endourology procedures as well as laparoscopy, reconstructive, Andrology, female and functional urology and pediatric urology as well.
Performed all the procedure independently after having assisted them, during the 3 years of residency.
