- The role incorporates, Procurement to Payment, order management, Price negotiation, Budgeting & Reporting. It requires to ensure all the policies & procedures are adhered to statutory compliance.
- Procurement-Operations:
- Procurement of Materials including products like (Inductors, Capacitors, IC, Resistors, WIFI module)
- Vendor negotiation for the best bid of the requirement, Sourcing, contract management& vendor master data management category wise for better choice to BU's.
- Conventional thinking on the requirements, screening them to provide better alternatives.
- Responsible for opportunities of cost savings through vendor rotation method, automation or vendor rationalization.
- Coordinating and negotiating with suppliers to get a price quote, lead time and payment terms.
- Work with respective commodity GSM & MPM on price issues/escalations concerning with suppliers.
- As per the customer demand place a purchase order to the supplier on time and their commitment within TAT and track the shipment until it reaches the production line.
- Following up with the suppliers for OTD (On time delivery) of goods to designed forwarders In Logistics Team
- Monitoring various activities such as order expediting with Suppliers, Order pull in and Push out, Cancellation based on the demand from the customer
- Processing RTV & Scrap materials which is affecting inventory at the WH.
- Reviewing and prioritizing to procure CTB materials for running production and avoid line down.
- As per the latest MP demand run the weekly forecast to vendor via EDI and monitor the supply plan status accordingly.
- Re-designed processes like P2P, processes using Lean Methodology to eliminate waste in the process.

- Prioritized on order security, accuracy and timely ETA &ETD.
- Corrective action for delay and excess expenses.
- Bargaining with CHA for best rates in market.
- Stabilizing the transport cost and freight within budget as per company norms.
- Planning conferences and meeting with vendors and retailers for formulating solution to complexed issues
- Communicate with vendors and connect them with local distributors.
