I did Post Graduation in Rural Development and subsequently also completed PG Diploma on Public Health & Nutrition. I have 25 years of working experience in Public health, child Health & nutrition and WASH programs. I have worked on right based issues such as child, adolescent and women health, nutrition and WASH especially for the socially excluded community. Have designed participatory projects on public health and nutrition and WASH with multiple stakeholders and worked in close liaison with government departments, Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI), Urban Local bodies and NGOs for joint project implementation, advocacy, monitoring and review.

One of the key responsibilities was to provide technical support to civil societies to develop movement on implementation of right to health and education in India.
