Worked as consultant and was responsible for Research and documentation on Status of Muslim Women in India. Goal of this project was to document socioeconomic and political status of Muslim women in India (based on secondary data).

Principal responsibility of this job was to manage campaign and advocacy efforts of the organisation on Millennium Development Goals, mainly in 5 states of India. One of the key responsibilities was to provide technical support to civil societies to develop movement on implementation of right to health and education in India. I was responsible for managing projects on Right to Education of Children of Socially Excluded Communities in urban slums of Delhi and Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.

Worked as Programme officer in INHP-III (Integrated Nutrition and Health Project) The principal responsibility of this job was to provide technical assistance to the government, PRI and NGOs in the areas of sector reform and sector strengthening of Child Health and Nutrition programme (ICDS) of Government of West Bengal.

Worked as a Consultant of Subhamay Samity for a Child Health and Education project supported by Healthy World Foundation, New York in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal.

Principle feature of the job was to provide technical assistance for planning and execution of the different health sector reform initiatives to improve IMR, MMR and morbidly due to communicable disease . Worked mainly on areas of Partnership, Quality Management of the Primary Health Care Services for the improvement of quality and coverage of the Public health services in West Bengal.

Achievements:

• Quality Improvement of the public health care services through COPEPLA (Client Oriented Provided Efficient Participatory Learning Action) in the facility level ( Block Primary Health Centers).
• Implemented Bio medical waste management in Primary care level of West Bengal .
• Community based Malaria prevention and Control which has been replicated by District health department
• Design of strategy, models and schemes for Go- NGO partnership in Underserved Areas to improve accessibility of primary care services of West Bengal focusing on Tea Garden Areas and Sundarban delta region.
• Design and implementation of a partnership model with Indian Tea Associations and Tea Garden Management and Panchayet, NGOs for the increase accessibility of primary health are services of tea garden population focusing on National Vector Born Diseases and RNTCP.

• Facilitate and monitor intensive efforts on maternal & child health and nutrition interventions under INHP-I in Purulia-II block of Purulia district and 5 blocks in Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar district (West Bengal) by involving major stakeholders – Social Welfare department, Panchayat and Health &Family Welfare department of Government of West Bengal.
• Capacity Building of three tier Panchayat functionaries, functionaries of Health and Social Welfare department on health and nutrition and participatory planning.
