➢ Ensure implementation of EHS policy.

➢ Liaise with external agencies/clients /customers

➢ Assess the EHS staff requirements in his cluster, Monitor the performance of EHSO. And Recruitment & selection of EHS staff as advised by Head - EHS

➢ Monitor the state / cluster specific changes in the applicable legal requirements and communicates the changes to BUEHSH, SEHSH and the EHSOs.
➢ While preparing a project EHS plan for a new project, identify all applicable legal requirements specific to that project; identify the frequency of compliance and person responsible for action to be taken.

➢ Ensure the implementation of the EHS management system and norms as per the IMS and EHS Manual, respectively.

➢ Designing and imparting training for staff, subcontractor, workmen, visitors and develop modules within the cluster

➢ Conduct site EHS inspections, Organizing & conducting EHS audits

➢ Co-ordinate for preparing the EHS Risk assessment & Safe Work Method.
➢ Co-ordinate on purchase and quality control of PPEs / safety gadgets as per the specifications.
➢ Investigate all serious incidents & initiate necessary corrective actions at sites. Analyze incident trends & initiate necessary Proactive measures at Project sites

➢ Collating and reporting the site EHS performance of the cluster.

➢ Appraising Management on EHS Performance on regular intervals.
➢ To provide / arrange to provide necessary EHS training to all employees based on the project requirement.
➢ Maintain all EHS related documents of the project and provide when required by management or site audit team.

 Making daily site inspection report on H.S.E at site and implementing the same.
 Conducting training programs for Safety Engineer of the contractors and sub contractors.
 Ensuring work permits for different type of activities at sites.
 Conducting audits, inspection, on day-to-day activities.
 Checking works related hazards and make proper SOP – SMP.
 Making daily site and making H.S.E report with hazards and advising for SOP for different type of activities.
 Advising job related personal protective equipments for working workmen and ensuring the same.
 Understanding the requirements of CLIENTS and ensuring the same from the Contractors and sub contractors.
 Developing job related and site-to-site related Safety checklist.
 Instructing to contractor and sub contractors to conduct safety orientation for new workmen, staff before joining to site.
