Project: Overpayment Recovery Management Services (ORMS)

Project Description: ORMS is a UHG proprietary application used to manage the lifecycle of healthcare claim overpayments. ORMS interacts with other proprietary UHG systems in order to perform vital claims processing duties and deliver tens of millions of dollars of savings per year.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Worked onsite as an onshore SME for the project at Optum’s MN, US office. As onshore coordinator, responsible for representing software applications engineering team during meetings with stakeholders, gathering requirements and proposing solutions.
• Practiced and encouraged respectful and transparent communication in interactions, responsible for delegating work to offshore team and making sure there is no blocker for the team.
