• HR Policy Development – Rolled out 11 core policies from the ground up, including open leave, travel reimbursement, probation, onboarding, parental leave, workplace conduct, PoSH, grievance redressal, and performance feedback, creating structure and consistency in a fast-growing, multi-location startup.
• Onboarding & Culture – Designed and implemented a standardized onboarding program with a 3-day orientation, lab tours, tool training, and Darjeeling field immersion within the first 90 days.
• Talent Acquisition & Recruitment – Led hiring across diverse verticals including science, ops, design, engineering, and marketing.
• Compensation, Benefits & Travel – Advised on compensation structures for full-time, contract, and other team members.
• HR Systems & Documentation – Centralized all HR policies and resources in Notion. Successfully onboarded and configured the Keka HRMS platform, including modules for payroll, attendance, leave, employee records, and performance tracking to enable seamless HR automation and scalability.
• Labour Law Compliance & Statutory Setup - Set up PF and ESIC accounts for the organization, ensuring statutory compliance for all eligible employees. Implemented protocols for labour law compliance, including Shops Establishments.
• Strategic HR Planning – Collaborated with founders and department heads to scale HR systems in alignment with company growth and hiring ambitions for 2025 and beyond.
