Developed a SAP UI5-based application that enables users to capture images of products and submit them to the SAP Leonardo Product Image Classification API. This API classifies the images into predefined product categories commonly used in eCommerce and returns probability scores for various categories, with the most probable category listed first. Upon receiving the classification results, the application cross-references the identified product with inventory in SAP ECC. If the product is found to be low in stock or not available, the application prompts the user to create a purchase order, streamlining inventory management and procurement processes.
