After completing my medical training, I went onto pursue advanced training in Anaesthesiology and during this time I developed a strong interest in liver transplant anaesthesia, drawn to the complexity and nuance of this critical and life saving procedure.
I then went on to pursue my speciality training in liver transplant anaesthesia, staying at the forefront of latest advancements and techniques in the field and have worked along top transplant surgeons and hepatologists to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing liver transplantation.
I'm passionate about gaining knowledge and expertise from the stalwarts in this field by attending conferences and workshops.
And when not in operating room I love playing badminton, watch movies and travel.
As I had an oppurtunity to pursue my post grauation in Anasthesiology from a Government hospital and medical college where my education and training was free of cost and subsequently I was given compulsory bond posting in rural area as service to the govt.
I handled routine cases of LSCS, hysterectomies, Hernia repair, circumcision and primary management of various trauma cases.
- Extensive exposure in managing General surgeries including laparoscopic surgeries, Urological surgeries, Obstetrics and Gynaecologic surgeries, Orthopaedic surgeries, ENT and Ophthalmic surgeries, Paediatric surgeries, Neurosurgeries, Plastic and reconstructive Surgeries (Like Cleft Lip Palate, Ear Reconstruction, Laser surgeries, Burn, Flap Surgeries, micro vascular surgeries etc.) and Anaesthesia and Sedation for Non-Operating room Procedures (ECT, CT scan and USG guided procedures, etc.).
- Special interest in regional anaesthesia with extensive exposure to Spinal, Epidural and Caudal neuraxial blocks and also adequate experience inUSG and PNS guided nerve blocks such as brachial plexus, sciatic nerve, popliteal nerve, femoral nerve blocks.
- I am trained at using video laryngoscope and Fibreoptic bronchoscope for intubation.
- I have worked in COVID dedicated ICUs during the Covid 19 Pandemic.
- During my residency, I have been trained in COLS, BLS, ACLS and ATLS.
- Posted as CMO (in Casualty Department) (for emergency care and trauma
care)
- Worked as registrar in ICU during Covid 19 Pandemic and was actively
involved in managing critical patients.
