Work as a team to deliver projects, with respect to industry leading standards as benchmarked in cost competitiveness, energy efficiency and GHG emissions reduction levels.
Evaluated industry wide available competitive LNG technologies (SMR, C3MR) while finalizing the LNG liquefaction licensor for the project to ensure seamless integration aligning with the project objective while meeting the GHG emission credits set as well as ensure cost competitiveness.
Perform economic evaluation (NPV analysis) among various dehydration and CO2 treatment licensors (UOP, BASF) to select the most cost competitive option, which at the same time meets the agreed SPA guidelines of the final LNG product with respect to CO2, H2O and heavies specs.
Carry out qualitative review of process deliverables (PFDs, HMBs, utility summaries, process description, and process study reports) received from licensors.
Participate in bi-weekly touch points with licensors to convey ExxonMobil expectations and scope of project and driving project deadline to meet annual/ quarterly targets for FEED readiness.
Participation in technical evaluation of licensor selection process during Pre-FEED/ Concept Selection Stage.
Participation in HAZOP study, ENVID review, CO2 abatement philosophy review as a part of GHG reduction philosophy.
Perform qualitative analysis of cost differences developed between licensor and in-house cost team
Optimize simulation models in Aspen HYSYS to match and identify differences with licensor HMB values.
Participation in FEED ITT (Invitation to Tender) Scope of Work and Design Basis document preparation for developing basis and outlining the scope of process engineering deliverables during FEED which has been shared with FEED bidders.
Preparation of technical presentations for conveying basis of licensor selection strategies, CO2 abatement philosophies adopted, feed composition change basis and impact in LNG production in front of senior leadership team.
I was responsible for optimization and correction of plot plan and pipelines which were shown on interconnecting piperack developed by Pre-FEED contractor during Concept Select Stage, alongwith the Layout and Safety team to best optimize the Pre-FEED costs of the project before start of FEED.
I was responsible for optimization and recalculation of slug catcher designs (a significant cost contributor in LNG technology) which was originally designed by Pre-FEED contractor. The optimization efforts led to significant reduction in plot areas and dimensions of the slug catcher.
Baton Rouge PolyOlefines Plant Flare Gas Recovery Project Lead Designer
I am responsible for development of project roadmap and coordination with inter disciplines (Electrical, Procurement, Mechanical, Instrument, Construction) to drive project towards completion of lead case/ concept selection before start of FEED.
I am responsible for preparing simulation model and HMB balance to recover flare gas from reactor outlet to eliminate continuous flaring as well as capture value by recovering the flare vent gas before re-utilizing the streams and meet the GHG goals for the facility in the process.

I was responsible for organizing internal and customer process design review meetings based on finalized PFDs, note down any additional customer requirements, and reason out the basis of standard UOP design practices, if required, to justify process design queries.
I was responsible for optimization of hydraulic pressure drops in piping, reactor, compressor & pump circuits, minimization of hot volume lengths in heater outlet pipe segments.
I was responsible for preparation of preliminary equipment specifications (for e.g., vessels, columns, heat exchangers, air coolers, rotary equipments, pressure relief valves) and utilities, as per customer utility guarantee.
I was responsible for organization of internal and customer P&ID reviews, based on final drafted P&IDs, discuss UOP design guidelines with customer.
Perform thermal rating of exchangers with respect to As-Built exchanger geometry based on revamped process conditions, check for adequacy of column trays & packing with respect to As-Built geometry based on revamped flow rates (look for opportunities to maximize tray efficiency within existing column diameter).
I was responsible for coordination with Project Management team and Equipment Specialists, before final release of design package to customer, ensure strict compliance to Project OTTR guidelines, as well as, adhere to UOP quality standards.
