Sagnik Ghatak is a highly motivated and intellectually inquisitive 3rd-year Bioengineering student at VIT Bhopal, driven by a passion for translating scientific principles into tangible solutions for healthcare challenges. With a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and biological concepts, Sagnik seeks to apply their knowledge to address real-world medical problems. Through hands-on experience in research and laboratory settings, Sagnik has developed a keen interest in the fields of biomaterials, tissue engineering, bioinformatics, modeling and simulation of biological systems, Cell Biology, biomechanics, and bioinstrumentation.
Sagnik's commitment to academic excellence has been consistently recognized, as evidenced by consecutive 1st prize wins at the prestigious inter-college biological symposiums RABVIT 2.0 and RABVIT 3.0. Furthermore, Sagnik's expertise in effectively communicating complex scientific concepts was recognized with the Best Scientific Poster Presenter Award at ICMR-NIREH.
