About Uva

  • Uva started as a small food delivery app back in 2016 when most of the operations were manual. After we took the development of Uva almost everything was handled by software.
  • Showing relevant, serviceable, approachable merchants to the users. Assigning the order to the most suitable driver by our automated bot. Consolidating the orders for optimized delivery experience. Generating various reports. Making automated payments to drivers and merchants.
  • Pandemic gives us the opportunity to scale a lot and now Uva is not only a food delivery app but delivers anything.
  • We provide sales channels (like Amazon. Flipkart) and as well as delivery channels (like Swiggy genie and Delhivery).

Our contribution

  • Customer mobile app (React native)
  • Merchant app (React native. But, supported only for tablets, iPad size)
  • Driver app (React native)
  • Merchant dashboard (Initially developed in VueJS and rewriting it in React/NextJS)
  • Webapp (Rewriting and redesigning in React/NextJS)
  • Fleet merchant app (React/NextJS). Used by B2B fleet clients
  • Admin dashboard (ReactJS). Used by internal admins of Uva for various task management.

Team: 5 developers. 1 QA. Client has their own project manager

About Driven Solution

  • This product was built specifically for optimizing the medical freight. It is not for the immediate transportation like Ambulance but for the prior appointments made.
  • Apart from optimizing the freight all the other processes like automated onboarding of the drivers. Sending contracts via docusign and capturing all the steps of the hiring. As medical vehicles in USA need very specific licenses so this onboarding process was very specific to that.
  • The biggest problem here was to make the routes optimizing for the pre booked appointments so that as less vehicles could be used as possible and as less miles could be driven as possible to optimize the cost. The expected saving from the product was around $3k/day.

Our contribution

  • Backend. That was the core of this product
  • Admin app which was very simple
  • Mobile app

About MyBhutan

  • This product was created to help the local tour operators of Bhutan who could not afford to create their own website and run their campaign. Most of these tour operators do not have enough resources to build a solid website to showcase their work to customer ad get the organic traffic.
  • At the same time after years of research team had gathered a lot of data about Bhutan and it's culture and it is the largest data available about Bhutan.
  • This product provides various templates which can be chosen by the tour operator to build their site using the our centralized data repository. They can use our system to run various campaigns for their agency without having any tech infrastructure of their own.
  • The ultimate purpose of giving this freebie was to connect all these agencies and. tour operator to Beyul (the other project which I have mentioned) so that it can be monetized.

  • Backend
  • Super Admin panel to manage all the data repository and agencies onboarded.
  • Admin panel for agencies to chose the template and data they want tp display on their site.
  • Website which is generated using the templates chosen by the agency admin panel.

About Beyul

  • This product is owned by Royal bank of Bhutan and it was developed to create the ecosystem to accept the online payment by various tour operators of Bhutan.
  • Most of the travel economy is dependent on the small and midsize tour operator in Bhutan who cannot invest their time and money in the technology. The only way to accept the transaction for them was wire transfer which had it's own challenges there because of the foreign policies of Bhutan.
  • Using this platform tour operator could generate the invoices and send to the recipient and get the payment from our system which was powered by Stripe. That money will go into Royal bank of Bhutan's US account and respective money used to be transferred into tour operator's account.
  • We had the payment tracking, refund and dispute addressing system in one place. It was easy for the tour operators to transact and for government to monitor those transaction.

About CarivalMas

  • It is a one stop digital solution to organize an event. It gives a market place to organizer to sell the props used in a social event. It can be a simple digital ticket or a costume. Every event has a different requirement and the whole system was flexible enough to cater and sell anything according to that.
  • Apart from the marketplace it gives a very efficient Admin panel to the organizer to manage all the events and then analyze the previous events performance.
  • After Covid we also created an aggregator marketplace where anybody who had registered for an event could put the items for Sale. Although this was started to address the immediate issue came because of Covid as many people were not able to travel to attend the event and wanted to sell the things but slowly it took the shape of a standalone product which unfortunately could not be continued because the event industry was shut down everywhere.

About Produce

  • Produce was originally a home box subscription based company where they had built a good customer base and they were selling those home boxes. The USP of their operation was that they were procuring everything directly from farms and manufacturers so the gross margin was good.
  • Just after the Covid Pandemic hit we started to build an infrastructure to sell all the homegrown groceries via our platform. We created a few very basic tools and mobile apps to start catering the requests and within no time the revenue had increased massively.
  • After that we started to build a strong tech around this to make it a fully fledged online supermarket.
  • Most of the operations are automated at this time via our technology.
  • Placing the purchase order to vendors, creating routes for the delivery, generating invoices for B2B clients, getting quotes from suppliers, uploading all the functional data and analyzing those. Where to place an inventory in the warehouse and from where to pick it while packing the order. Managing refunds, replenishment of the inventory and anything else you can think of.
