Dissertation Project – MSc Artificial Intelligence with Business Strategy | Aston University

• Developed a modular, AI-powered security framework for IoT networks integrating real-time threat detection (Random Forest, Neural Network), adaptive access control (MFA via Gmail OTP), & AES-based data encryption.
• Preprocessed & trained models on the CICIDS2017 dataset, achieving 99.99% DDoS detection accuracy; implemented real-time monitoring UI using Gradio & secured authentication using JWT, SHA-256 hashing, & Python’s cryptography library.
• Designed for scalability & deployment on resource-constrained edge devices, enabling real-time anomaly detection & secure communication in smart home, healthcare, & industrial IoT environments.
