  • Shared Resource Role: Currently dedicating 50% of my time to supporting a separate project transitioning to an upgraded version of the ERP suite. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, developing data transformation maps, and addressing substantial database changes to ensure accurate transaction migration while maintaining data integrity and validation.
  • Third-Party Integration Project: Contributed to the integration of our application and vendor data with a third-party system for account validation. Addressed significant challenges due to the third-party system’s inflexibilities, which involved extensive work on our side, including fault identification and resolution. The project spanned 1.5 years but was ultimately discontinued due to client concerns.
  • Enterprise Performance Management Project : Set up and configured a proprietary application for the client to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, replacing their previous third-party solution. Facilitated with interface development for data transformation and establishing end-to-end data synchronization between our ERP and EPM systems.

  • Upgrade (Transition to Next Version of Application): Contributed to the transition to the next version of our proprietary application by evaluating and adapting existing customizations. Reviewed and analyzed the relevance of current customizations to determine their necessity in the upgraded version and identified opportunities to utilize baseline solutions. Engaged with clients to advocate for improved processes and best practices, ensuring alignment with the new system capabilities. Adjusted and retrofitted customizations to align with UI and backend changes introduced during the upgrade.
  • Internal Hackathon - Rapid Development of New Pages: Developed a prototype allowing users, regardless of technical expertise, to create new pages within the application. The solution simplified the process by letting users select the data source(s), predefined layout, and desired fields, with automated handling of page registration, resource creation, and security. This led our team to winning the hackathon.
  • Internal Hackathon - Automated Security Management: Created a prototype to streamline security management for new resources in application builds. Automated the detection of new resources by comparing databases and utilized DBCR for applying security configurations, replacing the manual process of resource identification and security configuration.
  • Automation - Weekly Migration Process: Automated the weekly migration process, achieving a time reduction of at least 50%. The automation encompassed migration package creation and the use of Excel macros.
  • Automation - Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Used UiPath to explore automation possibilities. Although these efforts did not result in a major project implementation, the work contributed to automating several smaller processes for the client, significantly saving time, reducing manual effort, and minimizing the risk of human error.
  • Power BI: Quickly learned Power BI and Power BI Paginated Reports to assist with converting existing reports during the version upgrade. Although the client decided against extensive changes due to the need for their analysts to adapt to new report formats, this experience enhanced my skills in data visualization and report generation.
  • ETL Tools: Expanded from using Actian DataConnect to adopting Pentaho, an industry-standard tool. Developed strong proficiency in Pentaho and led the conversion of existing data maps. Have created numerous complex data transformation maps in the past and continue to develop new ones for various projects.
  • Maintenance and Support: Served as a key techno-functional resource for a proprietary ERP suite supporting a US-based client. Delivered critical support during nightly cycles, troubleshooting issues to meet a strict 6-hour SLA. Developed a deep understanding of the application and its functionalities, enabling independent resolution of defects without reliance on the functional team. For the past two years, have taken on the role of mentoring and guiding the offshore technical team following the promotion of our lead to an onshore position. Additionally, possess strong expertise in managing our interfaces infrastructure, essential for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and outflow across multiple applications.
