Server Administration :

• Responsible for building, installing, and decommissioning servers.
• Handle hardware maintenance issues and ensure optimal server health with 24/7 support.

Issue Troubleshooting:

• Address user and client issues, manage incidents, requests, and changes raised by the business, and create tickets for any hardware activities to ensure comprehensive incident, request, and change management.

Windows Server Patching :

• Manage patching processes, troubleshoot issues, create fixlets, and manually generate jobs for business-as-usual (BAU) activities while tracking the patch status of all servers.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain documentation of all activities performed, ensuring knowledge sharing among team members and representing collective efforts to clients.

Application Maintenance:

• Performing PAP\PAI Activities in Applications like Siebel, SAS ,DWH and Yolegas.

VMWARE ACTIVITIES :

• Monitoring alerts for VMs and ESX hosts in vCenter.
• Placing ESX hosts into Maintenance Mode for troubleshooting and handling drive and memory expansions for client machines, as well as migrating VMs to a secondary ESX host.
• Maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing the VMware ESXi infrastructure.

KNOWLEDGE ON AWS:

• Configured a VPC with both public and private subnets, and integrated VPC endpoints.
• Deployed EC2 instances with load balancers for improved traffic distribution.
• Set up an auto scaling group for EC2 instances to handle varying workloads.
• Managed S3 buckets with tasks like lifecycle configuration, creation, versioning and replication.
• Recovered data from failed EC2 instances to ensure continuity.
• Created and managed custom IAM roles for specific access control.
• Automated EC2 and S3 backup processes using AWS Backup, ensuring reliable on-demand data backups.
• Monitored system performance and resource metrics via Amazon CloudWatch, with custom dashboards and alarms for EC2, RDS, and more.
• Integrated Amazon SNS for real-time notifications via email and SMS.
• Deployed and maintained a database using Amazon RDS for scalable storage solutions.
• Automated the deployment of EC2 instances through custom AWS Lambda functions written in Python.
