Day to Day Management of the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) along with the Paramedics

- Identification of occ. health hazards at the plant across various shop floors

- Identification of notifiable diseases (is any) as per the schedule II of the Factories Act

• Responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients who arrive at the hospital with acute injuries or medical emergencies.
• Assess and stabilize patients, ensuring their vital signs are stable and providing immediate interventions as required. Informing change in health condition of patient to consultants.
• Perform various medical procedures such as suturing wounds, administering intravenous fluids and medications, conducting basic resuscitation techniques

• Maintain medical records of medico-legal cases.
• Participate in various healthcare related safety and infection control programs
• Counseling of patients and relatives as and when necessary.
• Implementation of NABH policies and procedures.

• Utilized strong decision-making abilities under pressure to prioritize treatments based on life-threatening conditions or potential complications.
• Regularly participated in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases, enhancing collaboration and improving patient outcomes.
• Increased patient satisfaction through compassionate communication and advocacy during critical situations.
• Ensured high-quality patient care by staying up-to-date on the latest emergency medicine practices and protocols.

- In-charge and overall responsible for the effective functioning of the MMU.

- To provide Primary, Preventive, Curative, Promotive and Referral Health

Services at the door step to the people in the un-served/underserved areas of the

state.

- To engage in providing essential quality Primary Health Care services to the

people with diagnostic facilities.

To organise the dispensary, outpatient department and will allot duties to the auxiliary staff to ensure smooth running of the O.P.D.

- organize training programmes including continuing education for the staff of PHC and ASHA under the guidance of the district health authorities and Health & Family Welfare Training centres. visit each Sub-centre at least once in a fortnight on a fixed day not only to check the work of the staff but also to provide curative services.

- Organize and participate in the “health day” at Anganwadi Centre once in a month.
