Behaviour and Performance of OPC and Blended cement concrete, 12 Months

In this present investigation, strength and durability properties of concretes made with Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Portland Slag Cement (PSC) and Composite Cement (CC) have studied. The physical properties such as fineness, setting time, specific gravity, specific surface area, normal consistency and compressive strength for various cements was conducted. Fineness modulus and water absorption for aggregates were estimated. Mix design for M35 grade concrete is done based on trial mixes as per IS: 10262-2019. Compressive strength and water permeability of M35 grade concrete using OPC, PSC and CC is calculated at 28, 56, 90, 120 and 180 days. The relative performance of corrosion resistance of concretes made with OPC, PSC and CC were compared. The performance of concretes under different curing and exposure conditions like normal water, sea water, acid attack, chloride attack and sulphate attack have studied.
