  • Qualcomm Projects: Designing cutting-edge camera products powered by Qualcomm SoCs, integrating advanced sensors like Sony's IMX586 48MP and ON Semiconductor's AR1335 20MP across platforms such as QRB5165, QCS610, and QCS2290, while meticulously optimizing performance for processing efficiency, ISP capabilities, system stability, and identifying the ideal configuration for superior results.
  • Qualcomm projects: To evaluate the individual blocks available in Qualcomm ISPs. The few blocks evaluated individually are QuadCFA, IHDR, and SHDR.
  • USB Projects: Spearheading the design and development of a high-performance USB camera device tailored for conference-grade applications. Following extensive trials, we selected an undisclosed ISP, paired with Sony's IMX317 8MP sensor. The development process focused on firmware implementation, including bringing up the USB protocol stack, MIPI interface, Universal Video Class (UVC) framework, e-con-specific bootloader, lens evaluation, and fine-tuning image quality to meet the stringent standards of conference-grade performance.
  • USB Projects: Developing a cost-effective and versatile USB camera system featuring the OV5640 5 MP ISP-integrated sensor module. The design utilized Cypress's CX3 platform to enable seamless MIPI-to-USB protocol conversion, along with user-specific controls such as resolution switching, frame rate adjustments, and comprehensive camera settings, including brightness, contrast, gain, sharpness, exposure, and white balance configurations.
  • Developed a JPEG compression technique for future plans to integrate it into our own ISP module. The bandwidth obtained during the maiden trial run was 1080p YUV422 @ 15 fps.
  • NVIDIA Projects: A set of subtasks including adding specific resolutions in already brought-up modules, and image quality validation in final stage products.

  • Project Plotbot: Working on improving the efficiency of the existing 2D printers by switching from ATMEL-based low-performance MCUs to STM32-based high-performance MCUs. Research and development work on increasing accuracy, performance, and efficiency of the system.
  • Developed a Disability Assistive System featuring a hand sensor to translate the simple actions of disabled individuals into Morse code. The system also monitors vital signs, such as body temperature and heart rate, while incorporating a brain wave analyzer to evaluate sleep quality. All collected data is seamlessly uploaded to a remote, customer-specific database using integrated IoT technology.
