Work History
Senior SDET
3 Years 2 Months- Developed and maintained API Test automation framework using Python, request library with pytest framework to validate REST APIs, and backend services.
- Worked on AI agents testing with different models and validated responses.
- Implemented UI test automation using Playwright with Typescript, improving coverage of critical user workflows, and regression scenarios.
- Integrated automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback during deployments.
- Leveraged AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, to accelerate test development, debugging, and code optimization.
SDET - III
2 Years 3 Months- Developed and maintained comprehensive UI, API, and functional test automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, the Requests library, with Robot Framework, enhancing test coverage and reliability.
- Built automation utilities for resume conversion and upload workflows, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.
- Designed and executed end-to-end automated test scenarios for the Talent Intelligence Platform, enabling early defect detection and improving release quality.
- Led a high-performing testing team of three for large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, DevOps) to identify production-impacting defects and improve overall system reliability.
Senior Test Automation Engineer
2 Years 4 Months- Contributed to the UI & API automation using Python with the Requests library, as well as Python with the Robot Framework, to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
- Identified and resolved a critical showstopper defect in the Bulk Edit application during the 6.5 release testing, ensuring a smooth production deployment.
- Automated the test data preparation process, reducing preparation time from 4 hours to 1 hour 30 minutes and significantly improving testing efficiency.
- Developed a Jenkins CI pipeline and enhanced release automation in collaboration with DevOps, reducing manual effort and improving deployment reliability.
Software Test Engineer
2 Years 6 Months- Utilised Selenium WebDriver to automate a wide range of test scripts, cutting down manual testing efforts by 80%. Boosted testing efficiency and accuracy by introducing streamlined automation processes.
- Created and deployed a Postman-based API automation framework, cutting manual testing time by 90%. This improved backend system reliability by 35% through extensive test suites and integration testing.
- Orchestrated and executed automated test cases via Jenkins in both testing and pre-production environments for regression testing, resulting in a 70% decrease in defects making it to production.
