Project Description:

The Vanguard Group, Inc. is an American registered investment advisor based in Pennsylvania with trillion in global assets under management. In addition to mutual funds and ETFs, Vanguard offers brokerage services, variable and fixed annuities, educational account services, financial planning, asset management, and trust services. Several mutual funds managed by Vanguard are ranked at the top of the list of US mutual funds by assets under management.
Project Description:
Our Lifetime Income Strategy (LIS) is an in-plan default strategy that combines a target-date portfolio with a guaranteed withdrawal benefit at retirement to generate an income stream for participants via Custom Glide Path, which is custom glide path with asset allocation is designed for specific plan demographics and offers higher-than-usual exposure to growth assets during midlife/early retirement. Guaranteed Income via Lifetime withdrawal benefits issued by multiple insurers mean that the account value is accessible throughout retirement and balances pass to beneficiaries upon death.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the requirements, providing estimates, preparing technical specifications document, development of code and Unit testing. Running production parallels prior to release.
  • Worked on Defect fixes. Debugging the programs using IBM DBUGTOOL.
