  • Responsible for the NPI and NSI design (proto to production), NPI issues, CPI issues, cost-saving activities, maintenance, and deviations.

  • Fifteen percent of cost reduction has been achieved in the excavator bucket market in India.
  • 2 INF fields for new LWL bucket concepts.
  • Implemented the cost reduction concepts and customized the buckets for the Indian market to reduce the cost by 15% from existing (per bucket).
  • Reduced the design lead time for custom buckets from 46 hours to 25 hours (21 hours saved per ETO, for a total of 1,092 hours saved in 2017 – cost savings of $27,000).
  • Create the modularization concept in large wheel loader buckets and underground mining buckets for reducing manufacturing lead time and design lead time (INF field).
  • Torque tube removed concept in LWL buckets with hinge cast design. (INF Field)

  • Reduced the lead time for the Dragline custom design bucket from 4 months to 2 months.
