- Responsible for developing dedicated specifications and architecture for both space-based and ground-based telescopes essential for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) in geosynchronous orbital region, aiding in space traffic control. These telescopes primarily facilitate the prompt observation and tracking of space debris and satellites, improving accuracy of satellite position monitoring to minimize collision risks.
- Designed and analyzed the optics for 350 mm aperture ground-based telescope and a 1.5 m aperture space-based telescope. This included developing a wide field-of-view, diffraction-limited, lens-based telescope using ZEMAX and CODE V software.
- Established the setup for integration and testing of these telescopes post-fabrication. Collaborated with optics manufacturers to refine designs and produce telescopes that meet the highest quality standards.
