Summary: During these two months, I worked primarily on the evaluation of new project and capacity addition to existing facilities by applying Capital budgeting techniques such as Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return method. I was exposed to the organization structure and understand the role and importance of various units. In addition, I understand the importance of several external factors such as market condition, competitive environment as well as internal factors such as importance of various functional units, employee morale while taking strategic decision in Tata Motors by working under the direct supervision of AGM Tata Motors. I have prepared Cash Flow model and analyse the importance of various unit during the decision-making process for adding capacity to the existing small car manufacturing unit in Tata Motors.
