• Attend all the breakdowns of machinery and plant utilities during production process in minimum time as the present working area is a 24 hour process dept.
• Planning and Performing Maintenance Activities: Execution of month wise preventive/predictive maintenance schedule for the equipment. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with time, plan and cost. Analyze breakdowns and prepare root cause analysis reports. Overseeing legal compliances adherence as required to be maintained.
• Drive initiatives to reduce the maintenance cost : Ensuring proper inventory of spare parts of the equipment. Analysis of repetitive failure of equipment/assemblies/parts and implementation of related modification to eliminate the failure, thereby reducing cost.
• Industrial Safety: Take action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformance related to maintenance activities. Ensure safe working environment and good housekeeping in the plant as per Environment Management System(EMS)
• Preparation of yearly budget: Assisting in data collection for preparing budget by analyzing the previous year trends of consumption, procurement, capex and breakdowns. Prepare list of requirements for major modifications and up-gradations
• People Management: Assisting in Identifying training needs in maintenance department and conducting OJT's. Execute training programs for engineers and fitters for their development. Support interplant job rotation of employees.
• Special Skills:
• I) Maintenance of EOT cranes, Electric Hoists and material handling systems.
• Ii) Health assessment of all process equipments according to legal requirements and applicable Indian standards.
• Iii) Programming and trouble shooting of AC VVVF Drives that are used for the various operations of EOT cranes, water circulation pumps and cooling towers (Allen Bradly, Yaskawa, Siemens).
• Iv) In depth experience of operation & maintenance of, Screw Conveyors, Elevators, Double Roller Crushers, Cam Shell Buckets, Dust collector, Compressors, Cooling towers, Diesel generator set, Heat Exchangers, Various types of pumps, Pipelines & insulation, Material handling Equipments.
• V) Maintenance of FO fired Thermic fluid heaters, Hot Gas generators, Flue gas recirculation furnaces, Vaccume pumps, Rotary valves etc.
• Vi) Experience of facility maintenance

• Maintenance of Plant H.T./ L.T. switchgear, GOD, HT Capacitor Banks
• Maintenance of H.T. Transformers 33 KV/415 volts-1Mva to 2.5Mva.used for plant Power distribution
• Maintenance of 33 KV/86 volts 7.3 MVA Rectifier transformer unit with OLTC (operating station at remote area) which is the basic equipment being used for Graphitizing furnace.

• Handling general instrumentation like temp controllers, pressure gauges & scanners etc.

• Programming and trouble shooting of AC VVVF Drives according to the requirement of different operations of EOT cranes and other material handling systems like transfer trolleys Goliath cranes, etc.
• Maintenance of all types of material handling systems having master controllers and radio remote control.
• Complete electrical and mechanical maintenance of EOT cranes.
• Maintenance of all types 3 ph. Slip-ring induction motors ranging from 5Kw to 120 Kw.
• Maintenance of 11KV sub-station and H.T. equipments, control and Protective switchgears.
• General maintenance of plant electrification and circuit breakers.
• Jobwise production planning for manufacturing of Electrical control panels required for EOT cranes.
• Procurement of Material required for electrical control panels of EOT cranes.
• Designing of Electrical circuits and schemes for the operation of material handling systems and EOT cranes as per requirement.
• Having meetings at customer’s end with their representatives for drawing approval as well as planning of erection and commissioning of the cranes to be supplied.

• Inspection of bought out components that are used in EOT cranes.
• Internal inspection in presence of customers representative as per QAP and in respect of the norms mentioned in IS 3177, 4137 & IS 807.
• Supervision, inspection and testing of control and power distribution panels required for the operation of EOT crane.
• Testing of crane in all respects after commissioning at customer premises.
