The Ultimate pit section profile and the corresponding model geometry for analysis and slope stability monitoring scheme and dump management; for monitoring the slopes, different state-of-the-art monitoring systems are practiced world-wide such as Visual Monitoring, prism monitoring, Total Station, Laser monitoring, Digital photogrammetric, Radar monitoring and Seismic monitoring, instead of above we have adopted & achieve the almost hundred percentage accuracy before the displacement/failure of bench on Aug-2022 of south side Departmental patch at Basantimata Dahibari Colliery under M/s BCCL, Mugma, Dhanbad, the methods i.e. Visual Monitoring, prism monitoring/Total Station for monitoring the dump slopes.
