Key Responsibilities.

• Manpower planning according to workload and material handling.
• Associated with the fabrication, assembly, erection, fairing, welding, and dry survey during the construction of hull structures of various large and small vessels.
• Associated with heavy/super lifts of blocks for erection.
• Associated in the pre-launching and launching activities of ships.
• Preparing pWPS and WPS for welding of hull structures.
• Verification of the hull structure with the drawings (dimensional and visual), both on skid and berth.
• Inspection of the welding of the hull structure for various defects by visual testing at various points, both on the skid and berth.
• Conducting various tests, like air pressure testing, dye penetrate testing, and ultrasonic testing, after the completion of welding with QC and classification societies.
• Coordinating with classification societies in scheduling inspections, tests, and submission of reports to assure a quality product.
• Documentation of progress on a weekly basis, monthly, and project planning.
• Vessel berthing, inspection of mooring arrangements for securing vessels on the jetty.
• Maintenance of diesel generators, main engines of ships, crawler cranes, EOT cranes, jacking equipment, etc.

Projects worked on in India

• Project Manager for Aluminum High-Speed Interceptor Boats of the Indian Coast Guard.
• SELF-ELEVATING JACK-UP DRILLING RIG (GREAT OFFSHORE) - It is an exploration platform designed by LeTourneau, Inc., USA. The basic dimensions of this rig are 243 feet of hull length, 206 feet of hull width, and 26 feet of hull depth, with the capability to drill up to 350 feet of depth. Its jacking system has sixty LeTourneau 375-kip electromechanical rack and pinion drives. The Super 116E provides the international offshore drilling industry with a proven, versatile tool for exploration, development drilling, and workover capabilities in most world regions economically.
• Worked on the project from day one, including the construction of the SPUD CAN and YOKE STRUCTURE.
• Certification of the workshop, prepared the PWPs and WPS for Germanischer Lloyd, obtained the approvals for the same, and conducted several welding tests for procedure and welder qualification under different classification societies.
• Worked as a Germanischer Lloyd Certified Welding Engineer.
• Platform Supply Vessel (Bourbone, France) - Worked in the outfitting of the vessel.
• PLATFORM SUPPLY (MAN FERROSTAL) - Fabrication and erection of the complete hull/structure.
• AHTS-150T Bollard Pull (3 vessels of the same series) for GOL India: Fabrication and erection of the complete hull/structure.
• PSV (2 vessels of the same series) for UP Offshore: fabrication and erection of superstructure.
• Fabrication of several heavy foundation structures, like diesel engine/generator foundations, propeller foundations of ships, and spud cans of jack-up oil rigs.
• Roll-On & Roll-Off operation of mega blocks and superstructures of ships by multi-axle transporters.
• Has handled numerous heavy lifts, super lifts, and operations of heavy structures.
• Ship lift, jacking, and preparation of ground ways/slip ways for the side drop launching of ships.
• Construction of high-speed interceptor aluminum boats for the Indian Coast Guard: total construction, inspection, transportation using multi-axle transporters, launching, sea trial, and delivery.

• • Worked as Site Manager/Owner's Representative for Great Offshore Limited in a South Korean shipyard for the construction of fore peak blocks and superstructures of five units. Anchor Handling and Supply Vessel.
