Role and Responsibility in ADMS Support:-

• ADMS Integration & Operations: Spearheaded the implementation and optimization of the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), integrating real-time data from Smart Meters and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) through the Common Information Model (CIM) and Geographic Information System (GIS). This integration enhanced grid reliability and operational efficiency.
• Network Model Configuration & Symbolization: Engineered and maintained network models within ADMS, ensuring accurate representation of the electrical grid. Configured symbols and imported network data from GIS using CIM, facilitating seamless integration and interoperability across systems.
• Device Lifecycle & Safety Logic: Managed the entire lifecycle of electrical devices within the ADMS framework, from installation to decommissioning. Implemented operational safety logic to ensure secure and efficient system operations, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
• Process Re-engineering for Network Updates: Led initiatives to streamline and automate processes for incremental network updates in ADMS, enhancing data accuracy and reducing manual intervention. This re-engineering improved operational efficiency and responsiveness to network changes.
• Outage Management & CRM Integration: Integrated ADMS with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to enhance outage management capabilities. This integration enabled real-time outage detection, improved customer communication, and accelerated restoration times.
• Change Management & Capacity Building: Played a pivotal role in organizational change management post-ADMS implementation. Focused on capacity building through training programs, ensuring that employees were equipped with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the new system effectively.
• Smart Meter & AMI Integration: Integrated Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, including smart meters with 'last gasp' signals, into the ADMS. This integration provided real-time data on outages and restorations, enhancing grid monitoring and response capabilities.

Role and Responsibility in Power Management:-

Real-Time Power Scheduling & Grid Frequency Management: Oversaw 24/7 power scheduling operations, ensuring grid frequency remained within permissible limits and optimizing power exchange through various market mechanisms.

• Market Operations & Trading: Proficiently managed Day-Ahead Market (DAM), Real-Time Market (RTM), and Term-Ahead Market (TAM) operations, leveraging market opportunities to optimize power procurement costs.
• Energy Accounting & Billing: Implemented energy accounting processes and billing systems based on provisional schedules and metering data, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
• Demand Forecasting & Load Management: Conducted long-term and short-term power demand forecasting, identifying potential surplus or shortage scenarios to inform strategic planning.
• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Optimization: Developed and executed strategies for BESS optimization during peak hours, enhancing grid stability and reducing operational costs.
