• Roles and Responsibilities of Production control and console operation:
• Job demand, resubmit, step restart, force complete, cancel, hold in the scheduling tool Zeke (ASG Product).
• Handling the abends and taking the actions as per user requirement like job resubmit from top, restart from step, force complete, and cancelling the job.
• Analyzing the late jobs on request queue and take appropriate action.
• Editing JCL overrides for job fixes as per application team instruction and setup the jobs to override library.
• Responsible for production support which involves production abend resolution and scheduling (Adhoc) requests.
• Moving jobs from test to production libraries.
• Doing checks on online’s availability, tasks, jobs output using SDSF.
