  • In my role as the B2B Head at American Express Banking Corporation, I am tasked with fostering new B2B Horizontal and Vertical partnerships across designated industries. I collaborate closely with the Global Commercial Sales and Account Development team to pinpoint and capitalize on Horizontal and Vertical opportunities throughout India.
  • Major Responsibilities:
  • Working in close collaboration with the leadership teams of GCS and GMNS to pinpoint and assess new business opportunities that will facilitate GCS's expansion of its B2B operations into new sectors, including Auto Insurance OEM, Oil OMC, IT, Logistics, Facility Management, and others.
  • Enhancing B2B acceptance through partnerships with banks, aggregators which will speed up signing small merchants.
  • Tasked with collaborating closely with the GCP sales team to discover B2B horizontal opportunities within their respective portfolios and assist them in converting their vendors for B2B acceptance for corporate clients, while also striving to extend this to other corporations.
  • Accountable for assessing new vertical opportunities that will enable GCS sales to gain acceptance in new domains, thereby supporting merchants in growing their businesses and assisting GCS in transitioning corporate non-card expenditures to a card platform.
