  • Working as a platform Engineer on the feature addition and bug fixes for next generation Ethernet EX and QFX switches.
  • Working in EX series switches for multiple bug fixes and coordinating a team of 4 people.
  • Experience in using multiple tools for debugging and running the project. Adding support for newly introduced optics in the latest releases as part of Release Line Items.

  • WiOpsy - Wireless tool for analysis/debugging ( PCIe/USB based in Win 10 x64): A fully operational ieee802.11ac product including Sniffer, Injector, Aerial View Interference detector, Roaming analysis. Etc with Multi Card support.
  • Worked in Firmware, Driver Winpcap and applications. Maintaining a team of 2 people on bringing up the software for this product. Complete end to end coordination. on design, development and bring up of the product.
  • Station mode driver bring up in WEC7 (802.11ac USB based in WEC7): Bring up of basic station functionality in QCA9377 (802.11ac USB) in WEC7 OS.
  • Complete driver porting of QCA9377 windows into WEC7. Leading a team of 2 people in porting complete USB layer and bringing up basic station functionality.
  • Packet Logging in WDI driver (802.11ac PCIe based in Win 10 x64): Log all the incoming and outgoing packets into a Wireshark pcap file.
  • Adding software changes in the QCA6174 WDI driver to copy all required packets, add radio tap header and save as a pcap file.
  • 802.11ax AP Testing Platform (Ubuntu standalone board QCA8074): Bringing up 384 STA-VDEV in 802.11ax platform.
  • Bringing up the memory in target firmware of 802.11ax board with 3 radios and bring up 384 station VDEV. Part of the team for completion of this project.
  • Optimize Roam time in WOW conditions (802.11ac PCIe based in Ubuntu): Original application is a voice call which needs to be carried without any drop during roaming.
  • Extending features and bug fixes in target firmware of QCA6174 to optimise the roaming related scenario with Wake on Wireless functionality enabled.
  • Radar detection in DFS channel (802.11ac USB in Soft AP mode in Ubuntu 3.10): Soft AP mode must detect radar in DFS channel and switch channel.
  • Worked on target firmware in detection of radar and channel switching to non DFS channels.
  • Porting QCA4002 (Low power IOT chipsets) driver on to different MCU platforms: QCA4002 is a Low power Wi-Fi chipset. Interface used: SPI interface.
  • Supported platforms are Arduino, STM32 series, Freescale family, LPC family.
  • Porting the driver with SPI interface across different MCU platforms.
  • Ported STCube framework on STM32F3 platform. Ported different applications for Soft AP, P2P, AllJoyn IOT framework, Throughput, Flash agent for flashing firmware binary. Etc
