• Proper storage of blood, inventory and management of blood to treat all patients of the hospital.
• Proper inventory of Indent & issue of all reagents and material using in all laboratory & working stations of dept. of Transfusion Medicine.
• Maintain the Record of all legal documents Log books, Installation & calibration reports, incoming & outgoing letters used in dept. of Transfusion Medicine.
• Documentation prepared monthly input reports for NACO, NICD & DRUG CONTROLLER.
• Strictly follow the Biomedical waste management policies

Maintain documentation of ISO, N.A.B.L, N.A.B.H & JCI including following responsibilities:

· Preparation of SOP

· Review of EQAS (External Quality Assurance Services)

· Review of Internal Quality Control (IQC)

· Prepare QIP (Quality Improvement Program)

· Conducting training to laboratory staff

Resolving Customer Complaints.

• Phlebotomy & its post donation reaction management.
• Antibody screening for unexpected antibodies.
• Resolving grouping x-match discrepancies.
• Quality control of blood components and antis eras.
• Infectious marker testing.
• Blood components preparation.
