- InspectionoftheSurface PreparationandPaintingwork.
- To ensure the job location & tools tackles are safe for work then take the permit to start the work.
- To check the weather condition before starting work on a daily basis.
- Skilled in the use of various coating inspection tools, such as holiday detectors, Dust & Salt contamination, WFT, DFT and peel off adhesion test (ASTM D3359).
- Regularly assessed the condition of existing coatings and identified areas of corrosion or deterioration.
- Conduct the Toolbox talk & safety walk through in the site in co-ordination with the safety department on weekly basis.
- Prepare weekly reports of the Surface Preparation and Painting work.
- Prepare daily reports of work progress and manpower utilization.
- Co-ordinate with the sub-contractors to achieve the targets and schedule set by the planning & try to achieve the target on time.
- Prepare the useful documents for the Bill.
- Demonstration of Surface preparation & Painting work with the help of kits.
- Supervision of all piping works and ensures safety and quality standards of the client.
- Inspection and approval of all the QA/QC submittals of the subcontractor.
- Be fully conversant with the drawings, specifications and procedures relevant to the mechanical and piping construction of the facilities.
- To study the isometric drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipelines and carry out the inspection work.
- Colour coding and marking of the fluid flow & valves direction with the help of P&ID.
- Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been painted in accordance with the specification and the pipe support details.
- Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensuring that all the activities are incorporated into their system daily and can be traced according to our requirements.
- Supervise and Inspection of cold and hot insulation, cladding on piping and equipment’s.
- Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports, prior to hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after the work is done.
- Carry out Project Engineering activities related to the project's multidisciplinary nature.
- Supervision of workshop activities for pre-fabrication of associated piping work.
