Platform and cloud engineering role in projects domains ‘IoT & Background Verification’

• DevOps Engineer on AWS for IoT: My Client ‘Belden Incorporated’ Belden is a global, publicly traded company specializing in the design, manufacture, and distribution of end-to-end networking, security and connectivity products and solutions. The company serves the Industrial Automation Solutions, Smart Buildings and Broadband & 5G markets to their clients. Accenture role in this project is to enhance the monitoring and predictive analysis of asset health and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in a manufacturing plant will be achieved by collecting, converging, and contextualizing network and asset health information and streaming it to the cloud for further analysis. My role is to setup cloud resource in AWS via automation for Edge, Data Engineering and MLOPS teams. Have hands on AWS resources GLUE, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, SNS, SES, IoT, Kinesis DataFirehose, Kinesis Streams, S3, Security group, ec2, ecr, IAM, repository – bitbucket, automation terraform (terragrunt) and monitoring Grafana

• Platform Engineering on GCP for Background Screening Company: My client ‘HireRight’ is a background screening company who does the employee background verification checks. I worked in Foundation team where my roles was to setup and support the infrastructure and handle DevOps related tasks by implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab as CI and ArgoCD as CD. All the application deployed for HireRight were of micro-services architecture deployed on GKE platform of GCP. I used to provision the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) via Terraform Code which is required for the deployment of micro-services application using GitLab pipeline, and ArgoCD. Experienced in working on ISTIo and Serverless platform Knative. I have setup and effective monitoring using Grafana Cloud and log monitoring solution Splunk Cloud , Secret Manager as HashiCorp Vault, Security as Sysdig-secure & CrowdStrike to have a complete visibility of all provisioned infrastructure & containers and resource.

• Platform Engineering – Devops for Imaginea: I was part of Devops practice for Imaginea and my role was to focus and explore on Devops tools. Experienced in setting up K8s cluster HA required for the deployment of nodejs and Java code base application in micro-service form using GITOPS method. Setting up GIT & GITLAB required for creation of Pipeline for Application deployment like nodeJS and Java Base on K8s. Managing Kubernetes cluster, Creation of Pod’s, Services, NameSpaces, Horizontal Pod Scaling, Deployments etc.

• Platform Engineering – Cloud Engineer for Telecom Company: Core member of Cloud Deployment Team for ‘T-Mobile’. I worked for Cloud Team. My responsibility was to Setup and configuration of Openstack and RedHat Openstack on the BareMetal’s for VNF integration. I have written complete automation in Ansible of RHOPS deployment to avoid manual method of deployment procedure being used by the client. Experienced in managing and handling configuration issues during installations both in Under-cloud and Overcloud. Also, I use to manage complete server OS upgrades, Firmware and Bios upgrades for all the sites remotely

System Administration - Linux Administrator and Build Engineer: I was part of Linux/Unix Build Team, responsible for the maintenance and management of over 4500 Linux servers, encompassing both physical and virtual machines. With a commitment to providing 24/7 support and delivery to clients, I ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. My role involves proactive monitoring of server health, including file system, CPU, memory, and disk utilization, collaborating closely with application teams to maintain server stability. I have extensive experience in troubleshooting major incidents and issues, liaising with OS vendors to resolve them efficiently through the raising of PMR cases. Additionally, I handle LDAP configuration and provide authentication and Sudo access to users, along with coordinating with application teams for planned outages and implementing OS patches, BIOS, and firmware updates. Proficient in OS installation and configuration, particularly RHEL 5/6, I excel in tasks such as LVM creation, filesystem expansion, and performance monitoring using tools like TOP, VMSTAT, IOSTAT, and SAR. My expertise extends to network interface management, user and group administration, software and patch management using RPM and YUM, and automation with Cf-engine. I also have proficiency in virtualization, including VM creation, resource management, and change control presentation in CAB meetings, along with coordinating downtime and executing approved changes during weekends in collaboration with application teams
