My Ph.D. research focuses on investigating the day-to-day ionospheric variability over low- and mid-latitude regions during geomagnetic quiet conditions using both ground and satellite based observations. The study aims to understand the role of various drivers, such as equatorial electric fields, neutral winds, and wave forcing from below, in shaping ionospheric behavior. The goal is to improve our current understanding of ionosphere-thermosphere coupling processes and physical mechanisms responsible for complex ionospheric variability over low and mid latitudes.
