Key Responsibilities – Design Engineer

• Develop detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and technical drawings based on project specifications.
• Developed and reviewed shop drawings and fabrication/production drawings for fire-rated roller shutters and fire curtain systems, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to fire safety regulations (BS & UL Standards).
• Select appropriate materials, components, and technologies to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Utilize CAD/CAE tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and ETABS to create, analyze, and modify designs.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings to support manufacturing and production processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, and manufacturing for seamless project execution.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), design reports, and test plans.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support prototyping and testing of design concepts.
• Analyze test results and implement necessary design improvements and modifications.
• Optimized design processes by implementing innovative software tools and techniques.
