As Project QA/QC coordinator /Project expediting coordinator
1. Review supplies w.r.t. project progress and expediting deliveries from suppliers.
2. Participating in pre-inspection and project review meeting with clients.
3. Providing QA/QC inputs for tenders/MR’s at bidding stage.
4. Reviewing and responding to bidder’s technical queries w.r.t. to project requirements.
5. Preparation of Material Status Report (MSR) for entire project.
6. Reviewing and expedite for removal of bottlenecks in progress of project execution.
7. Interacting with various deptt. like engg. Contracts & purchase, projects, construction within company for
smooth project execution.
8. Approval of EPC contractor’s QA/QC documentation viz. QAP's/ ITP’s, testing procedures etc.
9. Providing training to subordinates time to time.
As inspector and expeditor:
1. Ensure receipt of order & purchase requisition (PR) at supplier’s end.
2. Ensure unconditional PO acceptance by suppliers.
3. Expediting suppliers for submission of engg. documents, manufacturing schedule, sub-ordering of
bought-outs etc. on-time.
4. Expediting suppliers for raw material procurement, manufacturing activities as per schedule.
5. Providing inputs to the clients for delays accountability on supplier at the time of order closing.
6. Approval of suppliers’ QAP’s/ITP’s.
7. Approval/review of welding documents.
8. Approval of various working/ testing procedures like PWHT procedure, Hydro testing procedure,
Pneumatic testing procedure, Dish forming procedure, Heat treatment procedure, painting procedure.
9. Checking materials correctness stagewise as well as at final stage w.r.t. approved engg. documents, PR,
Contract documents.
10. Issuance of dispatch clearance to supplier after satisfactory compliance of materials with contractual
documents.
11. Shop survey/audits of manufacturers for capability assessment for enlistment as approved supplier.
12. Discharging any additional responsibilities assigned time to time.
