ð Monitoring Transporter’s performance, for the smooth functioning of the dispatch/logistics of Cement thru Road & Rail from Roorkee, Dadri and Sikandrabad plants, apart from this managing the secondary third party warehouse network of Uttrakhand and Western U.P.

ð Develop daily dispatch plan and direct Transporter’s to ensure the safe, secure, lean, efficient and lowest landed cost-effective operations from Plant to ACC dealer’s network / warehouses based on sales forecasts and input from senior management.

ð Ensure current and accurate inventory control for all products. Develop a space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards. Monitor the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards and requirements.

ð Lead the development and implementation of technology to improve visibility, service and cost (e.g., routing optimization software - IGSA, WMS, SAP etc.) Create the necessary processes to ensure data integrity in the company's information systems.

ð Ensures the internal fleet is in compliance with Central, state and local regulations and promote a culture of safety including regulatory compliance like GST, E-Way bill etc.

ð Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and deliver budgeted financial results.

ð Partner with IT on the development and implementation of technology to improve visibility, service and cost.

ð Maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration norms for safety of the logistics employees through training and monthly meetings.

§ Managing primary and secondary logistics and managing third party warehouses.

§ Negotiations and rate finalization of C&F Agents, Labour Contractors and Transporters from warehouse and sidings.

§ Monitoring stock transfers from plants to warehouse and warehouse to warehouse as per allocation given by H.O. and controlling L2 Movements.

§ Monitoring direct dispatches from plant to customers and assuring timely delivery to customers.

§ Performance measuring of warehouses and do corrections if required.

§ Carrying out physical stock verification of warehouses and analysis of variances.

§ Generation of MIS Reports which includes Distribution Cost Analysis with variance reports, Comparison of Budget Vs. Actual Cost, OET data analysis, Firing ratio calculations. Warehouse wise PTPK analysis. MIGO performance reports.

§ Generation of various reports to RO & HO like Logistics Dashboards, D3 Reports and IGSA variance analysis.

§ Sales & Coordination -Set-up and monitor key performance indicators for effective Sales Order Planning, Execution, and Distribution & Billing and maintain customer service standards.

§ To plan and oversee the execution of sales orders in order to maintain highest levels of OET.

§ Co-ordination with all warehouses for MIS, Damage control, Stock audit.

§ Inventory analysis and monitoring inventory levels.

§ SAP SD & MM Functional Support - Involved in the rectification of all SAP based Technical crisis situations vis-à-vis implementation

§ Monitoring the FIFO system inside all the warehouses.

Keeping focus on Safety at all the warehouses, godowns and Area offices. Briefing safety norms to labors, contractors and Transporters.

§ Generation of MIS reports related to cost, efficiency and budgets, doing ABC classification of inventory and creating dispatch plans accordingly, Analyzing warehouse KPIs and variance reporting, creation of warehouse & transporters efficiency reports on various parameters. Evaluation of vendor rating process.

§ Inventory Management & Dispatch planning from plant to different locations.

§ Inbound & Outbound Logistics –Manage entire Logistics operations, contracts and performances of the external Logistics Service providers (LSP) including the EHS part of it in order to optimize the effectiveness of the storage and transport.

§ Sales & Coordination -Set-up and monitor key performance indicators for effective Sales Order Planning, Execution, and Distribution & Billing and maintain customer service standards.

§ Implement and monitor a continuous improvement process and solve storage and delivery incidents.

§ To manage and oversee effectively all warehouse operations, maintain EHS standards and optimize utilization of warehouse space.

§ To communicate the pending sales orders – product/part wise to various units and prioritize.

§ To plan and oversee the execution of sales orders in order to maintain highest levels of OTIF.

§ To develop and review periodically, all Standard Operating procedures (SOP) and ensure strict compliances of ISO 9000 & 14000 standards.

§ To ensure the billing of domestic and export shipments are completed on time.
Plan and meet Q C D D (Quality, Cost, Delivery & Development) targets, Material scheduling.

§ Managing the inventories of 60,000 SKUs of all type of Electronics & CDIT, Food & Non Food FMCG, Lifestyle, Apparels, Footwear & Consumer durables.

§ Handling of Business processes and operations for 6 DC in North Region handling all kind of product range.

§ Ensure adherence to the defined operating procedures at the Distribution centre.

§ Liaise with the Business process excellence team to ensure the effectiveness of existing processes and to incorporate improvement suggested.

§ Control the activity of Inbound and outbound in Warehouse operations.

§ Recommend the ways and means to liquidate the obsolete/non-moving/slow- moving materials.

§ SAP WM Functional Support - Involved in the rectification of all SAP based Technical crisis situations vis-à-vis implementation

§ Monitoring & Controlling the Vendor receiving, Dispatch to Stores and internal location transfers of material (Replenishment Process).

§ Monitoring and controlling the WM based FIFO and Batch Management systems.

§ Reducing the Physical damages, Expiry and product losses inside the warehouse by extensive monitoring.

§ Inventory analysis and monitoring inventory levels.

§ Monitoring the warehouse efficiency and fill rate analysis.

§ Playing key role in Implementation and Set up of Distribution Centers.

§ Very extensive knowledge of SAP WM and providing training and support to all functions inside the warehouse.
