Settlements and Derivatives:

• Handling of the entire life cycle of Structured Products - Market Linked Instruments via TPS2
• Checking and authorizing Accounting Entries for settlements, upfront fees, pre-terminations
• Settlements, Corporate Actions, Private Client assignments
• Daily Proofing - Making sure GL and SL balances match
• Sending SWIFT messages
• Liaising closely with Desk Support and both internal and External counterparties
• Reconciliation of Advices and trades in Daily Blotters
• Month End reversals and posting
• HKMA Quarterly and Half yearly reporting
• Resolving Exceptions found in trade blotter reconciliation.

Investment Ops - Transaction Processing

• Daily updating of Management Information System (MIS), to see the trends in volume of work and support the decision making process
• Training the Team in Incoming functions making sure migration to Mumbai is 100% successful
• Monitor equities Trade Lifecycle event management (Unwind/Autocall/Expiry/Redemption on maturity)
• Transferring of returns from MLI into customers account
• Incoming Functions: Monitoring inward remittance from external banks
• Sighting funds in Nostro accounts and transferring of funds from Nostro accounts into customers' accounts
• Outgoing Functions: Remitting out funds to customers' account.(Time Deposit)
• Improved efficiency and effectiveness of performance and management of processes across departments.
• Evaluated corporate business processes to align outcomes with strategic goals and corporate vision.

Functional Duties:

• Handling the Agreement Management Team which is part of Global Fees and Commission Operation
• Responsible for Initiation and Maintenance of Give-up Agreements that facilitates efficient settlement of brokerage electronically for the listed derivatives business
• Performing periodic Review of Give-up Agreement to get the agreements executed in a minimal time period and to ensure that maximum brokerages settle electronically via FIA Techs Docs platform

Managerial Duties:

• Discussing action items with clients on Daily Client Calls
• Leading a team of 7 FTE
• Assisting team members on queries related to the process
• Ensuring the team has completed all the daily activities from the checklist
• Preparing all Non SLA reports for the management
• Providing Instructions to the team
• Restructuring of the existing processes for efficient & timely delivery.

• Discussing action items with clients on Daily Project Call
• Ensuring the team has completed all the daily activities from the checklist
• Assisting team members on queries related to the process
• Allocating month-end activities to team members and ensuring timely completion
• Reporting the status of Month end activates to client on Month end Calls
• Preparing the MIS reports of Invoices processed and accrued in the month
• Restructuring of the existing processes for efficient & timely delivery.

Clearing and Settlement:

• Well versed in settlement/clearing for derivative products on global markets
• Responsible for clearing future trades for Asian markets using Clearvision Application
• Liaised with operations team and counterparty to resolve Client trade bookings and allocation, commissions and fees issues in a timely manner
• Performed functions including reconciling client trades and account positions
• Liaised with Client Executives and Operations Management for review of Clients' Futures open positions and close existing positions
• Investigating breaks between backend, broker and exchange positions
• Assisted in resolving any client queries and service enhancements
• Performing corporate actions as per exchange circulars
• Performing Futures contracts expiries for Asian markets

Accounts Payable:

• Reconciliation of charges on Intellimatch application
• Processing payments related to exchange houses (i.e. Euroclear & Clearstream)
• Interacting with agent banks for invoice copy, interest and bank statement for reconciliation purposes
• Making SWIFT payments of MT103 Charges to agent banks via MT202 message
• Enhanced process operations of TAF Regulatory Fees payments to FINRA

Brokerage:

• Reconciliation of Manual Brokerage Payments to counterparties of contract
• Making payments to Blomberg for their services
• Making payments of brokerage electronically for live brokers via eGAINS and GPS
• Preparing MIS of payments made manually and electronically on a monthly basis
• Performing Reconciliation on daily brokerage discrepancies in Erecs.

• Solely handling Loan Disbursement function through FT & RTGS across PAN India
• Management of the E-Funding function and transaction processing
• Performing refund activity for excess amount paid by customer for Consumer Loan & Housing Loan
• Preparation of various MIS reports related to business done
• Attend weekly meetings with department heads to evaluate key indicators, including market conditions, and emerging opportunities based on competitive analysis
