Key Responsibilities :

• Understanding structure of various OTC derivative products on multiple asset classes (Equity, Commodity, Credit, RatesFX) with their lifecycle, functioning and cashflows to calculate initial margin based on 99% 10-day VaR (Value at Risk) for multiple portfolios of BofA with other global financial counterparties to mitigate counterparty risk
• Pricing and Valuation of OTC Derivative Products using in house tools, liaising with front office and quants team to address the gaps in BofA initial margin calculations
• Analysing impact of multiple derivative greeks (delta, vega, gamma etc) pertaining to various trades to assess counterparty risk on the entire portfolio
• Process manager for thousand of agreements pertaining to credit rating based complex triggers. Work includes leading a team of four for daily independent amount calculations, swing validation, reporting and posting of collateral
• Received multiple gold and silver awards for singularly leading process automation using excel macros (VBA) and python programming to realize a benefit in annual time savings of more than 700 man hours

Key Responsibilities :

• Understanding the illiquid alternative asset classes (private equities, hedge funds, real estate) along with their functioning, lifecycle and asset specific risks to build asset management platforms for the client
• Leading daily Webex meetings with European clients dealing in Spanish NPLs backed by Residential Real Estate and Real Estate Owned to understand their business requirements
• Developed financial models and business plans for the client along with projection of cashflows for various residential and commercial real estate projects
• Analysing viability of different real estate projects using metrics like NPV (net present value) and IRR (internal rate of return) by simulating multiple scenarios based on various assumptions
• Ideating and building IT solutions to monitor and manage cashflows derived from sale proceeds as well as rental income of real estate assets to keep liquidity risk at check in the form of operational expenses, financing costs and Capex expenditure in future
• Built IT solutions aiding European banks in monitoring covenants, interest payments, and periodic waterfall structure payments as a part of commercial loan sanctioned to the real estate companies
