Material Planning

• Negotiating with the suppliers on delivery schedules adherence , accommodate fluctuation at optimized material flow and logistics cost .

• Utilizing Data Analytic to arrive at BEST strategies for Synchronized Material Flow with leading / lagging ANDON’s
• Engaging in risk management actions for clearing backlogs or unforeseen issues from supplier end by improving last mile and express movements

3PL Warehousing & Methods logistics

• Design & planning warehouse storage for optimized space planning and ensuring FIFO material flow
• Developing lean method logistic flows avoid double handling and over processing with one-way /returnable packaging and supplier end kitting
• Implementing standards in line with EHS ,5S ,statutory & production system guidelines
• Analyzing investment for MHE, warehousing, packaging and manning requirements based on upcoming models and TAKT /cycle time constrains
• Spearheading equipment planning & implementation such as side loader & gantry cranes

Packaging Engineering & Outbound Logistics

• Spearheading all production parts packaging both expendable & durable solutions with cost optimization and standardization .
• Addressing Ergo concern & ensuring defect free product quality till POF
• Identifying the plant operational constrains and change the packaging to suit the line requirements
• Planning flawless outbound movement to customer site as per project milestones

Project Management

• Networking with project core team for timeline & work package management.
• Representing and integrating supply chain aspect in project QCD

• Managed multiple roles; regional Asia Pacific, Chennai engine plant & Vehicle operations
• Coordinated with Inbound supplies from domestics & imported source as per the schedules (Just In Time, supplier part sequencing, Hourly Material Replenishment System, day/weekly supplies)

• Ensured lean production inventory through ERP mapping to ship frequency & milk run plans
