Assisting the company in developing, managing & altering social responsibility policies using internal communication to reinforce the company’s social responsibility policies. Developed implementation project plan, outlined the scope, schedule, and budget of the project, as well as each party’s responsibilities and mutual commitment to contribute adequate resources.

• Implementation of National Seismic Risk Mitigation Project (NSRMP), World Bank, National Disaster Management Authority, New Delhi and DDF Consultants Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, Coordinated with consultants for timely gathering of data, worked as social expert for conducting social screening of sites and drafting SIA report, coordination with World Bank and NDMA for timely submission of reports and other deliverables
• Early Warning Dissemination System for Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation, Mumbai, India, Elrha (UK), Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation, Drafted proposal to attract funding from Elrha, UK (Humanitarian Innovation Fund), Meetings with Government officials for commencing the project, guiding the research work to understand the ground realities and innovations to be done in proposed Early Warning Dissemination System, Designing of outlay of the proposed Early Warning Dissemination System
• Implementation of National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project (NCRMP), World Bank, National Disaster Management Authority, New Delhi, and different departments of Government of Gujarat, Coordinated with Line Departments & Field Officers for procurements of goods & services, as per the guidelines of World Bank and Government of Gujarat and monitored overall project implementation activities such as construction of roads & cyclone shelters, capacity building and community involvement activities in 15 cyclone prone districts of the state. Evaluated the progress report as submitted by different consultants associated with project. Represented the State during different project progress meetings at National level as well as State level. Formulation of tender documents and CRZ clearance proposals, environmental and social screening of sites as and when required
• Implementation of National School Safety Program (NSSP), National Disaster Management Authority, New Delhi, and State Government, Monitored the implementation of National School Safety Program designed & funded by National Disaster Management Authority, Government of India. Monitored the Project at State level so that the different components of the projects are implemented in targeted 400 schools of three vulnerable districts of Gujarat
• Implementation of Gujarat School Safety Program (GSSP), Education Department, State Government, Taking learning from National School Safety Program, conceptualised Gujarat School Safety Program in all the districts of State. Starting from 400 schools, the projects has been scaled up to more than 44,000 schools in three years
• HAM Radio Training, Organized training programs on using HAM Radio, for District Authorities including District Project Officers, Officers from fire brigade, Mamlatdars etc. for better communication during disaster situations
• Publication of Quarterly Newsletter, Phoenix, Managed compilation of report on activities conducted across state for disaster preparedness, co-edited contents of newsletter; ensured designing, publishing & distribution of newsletter to all government departments & district level authorities
• Aapda Mitra, Led the overall conceptualization, coordination, and management of the “Aapda Mitra” program in consideration with the need of first responders during golden hours of disaster response. Till now 1962 volunteers have been trained from 33 districts for following activities: Deep diving and advanced swimming skills, Search & rescue trainings, First-aid trainings
• Creation of Decision Support System Software, Administered the knowledge sharing for creation of GIS based Decision Support System Software with the help of BISAG to help government machinery to take different tactical and strategic decisions during disaster response
• Commissioning of State Emergency Operation System, Coordinated with different stakeholders to come out with redundant, robust and fail proof communication infrastructure for disaster response and Early Warning Dissemination System comprised of satellite and HF/VHF networks
• Smritivan, Smritivan is a project to develop a hilly terrain in Bhuj as a tribute to the victims who lost their lives in 2001 earthquake. It aimed at overall procurement and contract management of different consultants’ viz. Vastushilpa Consultants, Design Factory and Contractors and so on. It also addressed knowledge sharing for creation of museums and libraries for awareness of communities for disaster mitigation
• Rehabilitation of flood affected villages, Coordinated real time disaster response activities at State Level during floods in Gujarat in 2017 for flood impact assessment & formulation of relocation packages
• Research Project for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Gujarat, Project for a survey in 4 districts of Gujarat, covering 33 villages for assessing their existing socio-economic conditions
• Evaluation of CSR initiatives for Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizers Ltd., Maharashtra, Developed & documented methodology for evaluating 4 CSR programs of RCF, Khel Khel Mein, Mid-Day, Meal, Abhyanand Super 30 and Mobile Medical Van
