Daily Reconciliation of IAR Sales Report
A final reconciliation also be performed before sales report authorization/submission. The final net remittance of the report is the amount ARC will draft to or from your bank account.

• Verify that all documents and voids are correctly listed.
• Verify that all transactions were legitimately issued by agency (to guard against unauthorized ticketing).
• Correct any errors.
• Verify all commission amounts.
• Verify that all refund transactions are accurate and that their values include any penalty information or waiver code (if applicable).
• Verify that all exchange transactions are accurate and that their values include any penalty information or waiver code (if applicable).
• Verify that all residual value MCOs/EMDs are properly linked to their associated exchange transaction as companion exchanges.
• Verify that all other companion exchanges (exchanges that involve more than one new document) have all additional new documents correctly linked.
• Verify any GDS void of a companion exchange transaction has been processed in IAR.
• Verify all IAR modifications and voids are completed prior to the expiration of the transaction’s next business day window date.
• Verify cash and credit totals.
• Verify the net remit amount.

  • Issue Identification- Auto-ticketing errors are occurring during the ticket issuance process, where the system is not completing the transaction as expected.

  • Feedback to Tech Team: System Stability. Ensure that the auto-ticketing system is more robust, minimizing instances where transactions fail midway.
    Error Logging : Implement detailed error logging so agents can better understand why a particular ticket failed to issue automatically.
    Real-time Monitoring: Introduce real-time monitoring tools to quickly identify when errors occur and alert relevant teams for faster resolution.
    Improved Fare Validation: The system should validate fares, tour codes, and conditions properly before proceeding with issuance to prevent ADMs.
    Test Scenarios: Consider adding more test scenarios to cover a variety of fare types (e.g., humanitarian fares, complex reissues) during the QA process to catch errors before deployment.
  • By addressing these areas, the auto-ticketing process can be improved, reducing errors and manual workload while increasing overall efficiency.
  • ADM Review:
    The agency reviews the ADM for accuracy, checking the reason and supporting documents.
    If the ADM is valid, the agency accepts it.
    If there’s a dispute, the agency prepares a justification and submits a dispute to the airline within the allowed timeframe (usually 15-30 days).

    If disputed, the airline reviews the agency’s arguments and either cancels the ADM or rejects the dispute.
    If rejected, the agency is required to pay the ADM within the settlement cycle.
