A quick learner with ability to navigate complex challenges with flexibility, adaptability, and agility with a strong emphasis on inclusion, collaboration, and coordination.
In my current role, I specialize in the geometric design, corridor modeling, and drawing production for highways, intersections, interchanges, and railroads. My responsibilities include vehicle tracking and swept path analysis, site grading, and plan layout preparation for land development projects such as parking lots, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, drainage networks, and utility modeling. I conduct earthwork analysis and quantity calculations while actively engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination. I review the work of engineers and technicians, provide training and mentorship to fresh graduates and postgraduates, and troubleshoot CAD tool issues. I also create custom MicroStation and Open Roads Designer workspaces and standards, including seed files, annotation styles, feature definitions, and templates. Additionally, I develop Civil 3D assemblies, templates, and styles, create workflows, scripts, and programs for efficiency, and prepare tutorials, best practices, lessons learned, and process guidance documents.
In my role, I was mainly responsible for 3D modeling of rock tunnels using MicroStation and Civil 3D software while other responsibilities included preparing highway plans, profiles, cross sections, and detail drawings. I conduct vehicle tracking and swept path analysis, perform quantity calculations, and ensure my work adheres to company standards through thorough self-checks. I also maintain comprehensive documentation for all models and drawings, engage in knowledge sharing, and prepare training materials to support team development.
In this role, I was responsible for preparing general arrangement (GA) drawings of transmission towers, as well as shop drawings and foundation layout drawings using AutoCAD and Microstation drafting software. My duties also include quantity calculation, preparing bills of materials, and coordinating various aspects of the project to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project goals. I was also involved in project cost estimation by extracting the material and fabrication cost of the transmission tower and substation structures and foundation from the 3D model.
