- Project Name: Using polysaccharides-based biomaterials for the differentiation of iPSCs into chondrocytes.
- IPSC cell culture derived from human fibroblasts was used to differentiate into chondrocytes in scaffolds (3D medium).
- Scaffolds were prepared from plant polysaccharides and collagen from rat tails.
- Culturing and harvesting iPSCs and other mammalian cell lines.
- Cells can grow scaffolds for the MTT assay, and different molecular techniques were used for the identification of the cell line, such as immunohistochemistry, RT-qPCR, western blotting, etc.
- Some biochemical tests are also performed for the polysaccharides and proteins of incubated scaffolds.
