- Accommodation was inhospitable due to the poor condition of the air conditioning plant, overhauled all the three reciprocating air conditioning compressors and blower system.
- DCI dredger XVI: The vessel was having acute hydraulic system problems. The central hydraulic system for the bottom doors and drag head and gantries and the winches were having problems.
- Overhauled nine bottom door cylinders on stream by making special tools and techniques.
- Made several modifications and commissioned the sewage treatment plant and oily water separator.
- Modified the grey water discharge system.
- Modified the oil transfer system from the hydraulic oil storage tank to the hydraulic oil service tank.
- DCI dredger XIV: Took over the vessel in very bad condition with no stand by generators. Vessel is stopping every other day due to generator problems.
